The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (FWTA) operating as “Trinity Metro” and owns and operates the TEXRail commuter rail line and co-owns and operates the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) along with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). TEXRail provides services between the City of Fort Worth and DFW Airport Terminal B. TRE is a commuter rail providing service along the corridor between the cities of Fort Worth and Dallas and has been in operation since 1996.
